At the AOPC 2017 conferences, researchers will discuss their current work in oral and poster presentations. Each presenter will submit a paper on this research that will be reviewed by experts and then published in the conference proceedings.
A link to the SPIE submission and review system for each conference will be posted on this page by 1 April 2017. Each presenter must submit the paper to be published in the proceedings no later than 1 May 2017.
All of the presenters at an AOPC 2017 conference will receive access to the proceedings of that conference, including their own papers, on the SPIE Digital Library.
The proceedings papers will be technically sound, original, and include data that explains the results and supports the conclusions. The papers will be six to twelve pages long, single spaced and single column. They will be written in English with clear text and figures. The figures will be in color in the SPIE Digital Library.
Presenters will format the manuscript for their proceedings papers as this information instructs: http://spie.org/conferences-and-exhibitions/authors-and-presenters/format-your-manuscript-multimedia-files-and-references
Authors will transfer copyright to their papers to SPIE, using this form: http://spie.org/Documents/Publications/ProcCopyrightForm.pdf, which details the significant rights to the contents of the papers that authors or their employers retain. Authors may submit expanded versions of their papers to journals and books as well as disseminating their papers in their organizations in research, teaching, and discussions with clients and collaborators.
SPIE, the publisher of the proceedings, will disseminate the proceedings promptly on the SPIE Digital Library as part of the Proceedings of SPIE series so that the papers are available to the AOPC 2017 participants and to other researchers while they are most valuable.
SPIE will submit the proceedings to the major scientific indexes, including Web of Science, Scopus, and Ei Compendex, and the major search engines immediately after publication on the SPIE Digital Library. The research community will become aware of these papers soon after publication.
